Room services

There is a free TV system available in all rooms, designed to air pre-selected channels and contents, broadcasting programming commensurate with patient healthcare and with the values the institution seeks to uphold.

The selection includes some of the best cultural, sports and entertainment channels avoiding aggressive and negative contents with a shallow humane tone to them. In addition, three FM radio stations received in the area can be tuned in by only turning the music switch on.

Nutrition

Nutrition is an important component of care therefore HUA retains professional nutrition and cooking staff who prepare a variety of tasty meals for every patient following physician indications.

Safety

Rooms are equipped with a combination lock safe to be set by the patient (safe shall be open upon discharge). HUA accepts no liability for valuables deposited in the safe stated herein.

For security and safety reasons toddlers under twelve months and accompanying adult shall have duplicate wristbands assigned to them and positive identification shall be verified upon leaving the hospital. This procedure shall be followed on every occasion including short visits. All Hospital corridors are monitored by security staff-operated surveillance cameras.

A prayer room or chapel located on the first floor is accessible at any time to anybody wishing to visit it. Mass is celebrated everyday in the chapel; on Sundays at 9:00 AM and at 7:00 PM and from Monday through Saturday at 8:00 AM.
